ABOUT US :
"While we try to teach our children all about life, our children teach us what life is all about."
Emily Gillespie- Founder
My name is Emily Gillespie and I am from the beautiful city of Penticton. Growing up in the Okanagan, I have discovered many activities I love. In the winter you can find me on the ski slopes or tobogganing, and in the summer, you can find me playing beach volleyball, hiking or walking any of my three dogs. I am currently pursuing my Bachelor of Psychology through Thompson Rivers University Distance Education Program. My enjoyment of working with people of all ages has led me to this education choice, and the decision to one day pursue a career in Social Work. I have held a passion for working with children since the first time I babysat when I was 11. Since then, I have taken every opportunity I can to work with children. I now volunteer at my Church in teaching Children’s Liturgy and have gotten the chance to meet many different wonderful children. I think it's important to provide children with a fun, fulfilling and enriched environment. I look very forward to working with your children!

Some of the activities I enjoy are reading, skiing, volleyball, and yoga. I love animals and really enjoy spending time with my dogs Bentley, Charlie and Marley. Currently, I am taking the Cardiology Technology Program through the Distance Education Program at BCIT. Along with my sister, I also volunteer at my Church teaching Children’s Liturgy. I really enjoy doing this, as it provides me with an opportunity to work with children. I believe in the importance of providing children with a safe, fun and educational environment. Rhys Davidson
My name is Rhys Davidson and I was born in Nijmegen, in the Netherlands. I lived there until the age of thirteen when my family made the decision to move to Canada, specifically, the Okanagan. Apart from spending my younger years in Europe, I have now spent the past eleven years living in Canada where I am very thankful to have had the opportunity to live. The Okanagan is beautiful and since moving here, I have had the opportunity to pursue and begin participating in new sports that I really enjoy such as Soccer, Hockey, Baseball, Volleyball and many more. In my spare time, I enjoy getting outside and being active. I especially enjoy hiking in the warmer months and snowboarding in the winter months. Since a very young age, I always held a passion for being around children. I grew up with a younger sister that I instinctively helped take care of and always made sure to set a good example for her while growing up. Since the age of 13, I began babysitting on a regular basis and always looked forward to more opportunities that meant spending time with children. I have been working with children for many years, and really enjoy watching them continue to grow and learn. I am thankful for any opportunity to work with children and really look forward to meeting you and your family!
